Bring beauty and flavor to your garden with Uchiki Kuri Squash, a vibrant Japanese heirloom winter squash. With its bright orange-red skin and sweet, chestnut-like flavor, this teardrop-shaped variety matures in 85–95 days and is perfect for roasting, soups, or baking.

Each plant yields 2–3 fruits weighing 1.5–3 kg. Thin-skinned and easy to cook—no peeling needed. Originally developed in Japan in the 1930s from Hubbard squash, Uchiki Kuri has become a favorite among gardeners and chefs alike. Stores well for 3–5 months after harvest. Best grown in full sun with rich, well-drained soil.
